WTG Contract Manager

Be the energy behind change. Join ABL Group.

Delta Wind Partners (DWP), part of the ABL Group, is a young, ambitious, and fast-growing consultancy in the offshore wind industry. We specialize in providing expert technical and commercial support across the full lifecycle of wind energy projects. With increasing demand and a growing pipeline of innovative projects, we are looking to expand our team.

We are now seeking a WTG Contract Manager to join our dedicated and collaborative team, providing expert support to clients and internal projects on all contractual aspects of wind turbine generator (WTG) supply agreements.

As a core member of our commercial team, you will lead and advise on contractual matters related to WTG supply across development, negotiation, and execution phases. You will also support technical due diligence (TDD), vendor due diligence (VDD), and serve as a subject matter expert across projects.

What will you be doing?

  • Act as WTG Contract Manager on behalf of offshore wind developers during both development and execution phases of the Turbine Supply Agreement (TSA).
    • Lead contract drafting, negotiation, and execution support, ensuring full alignment with project goals and stakeholder expectations.
    • Monitor TSA execution and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide contractual expertise during Technical and Vendor Due Diligence (TDD/VDD) processes.
    • Review and assess terms and conditions, programs, price indexation, and other key commercial elements.
  • Act as subject matter expert across internal teams and projects.
    • Review and guide the development of contract schedules, provide feedback, and share best practices.
  • Support a collaborative and knowledge-sharing culture across DWP.
    • Participate in internal knowledge forums and contribute to team development.
    • Engage with clients through meetings and presentations, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
  • For qualified candidates, this role may be elevated to a Senior Contract Manager role, encompassing additional leadership responsibilities.

 What are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced and proactive contract management professional with a solid understanding of WTG supply agreements and the offshore wind industry.

Key requirements:

  • A university degree in a relevant commercial or technical discipline.
  • Significant experience in project, sales, or contract management within the wind energy sector.
  • Proven track record in negotiating large-scale contracts for offshore wind projects or large infrastructure facilities.
  • Strong understanding of wind turbine contract processes and industry standards.
  • Experience in execution-phase support and lifecycle contract management.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience working with WTG OEMs or offshore wind developers.
  • Deep understanding of WTG-specific contractual structures and mechanisms.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong drive for improvement, innovation, and proactive problem-solving.
