Delta Wind Partners (DWP), part of the ABL Group, is a dynamic and fast-growing consultancy in the offshore wind industry. We specialize in delivering technical and operational excellence across the full lifecycle of offshore wind projects, with a strong focus on innovation, collaboration, and driving down the cost of energy.

Our team is expanding to meet increasing project demand, and we are now looking for a WTG Project Manager to join us and take a lead role in the delivery of wind turbine generator packages for our cutting-edge offshore wind projects.

Working as a core member of our team, you will manage the WTG package throughout project development, contracting, and execution. You will act as the technical lead, ensuring quality, budget, schedule, and risk management, while engaging with key stakeholders and supporting the success of the wider project.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead the WTG package scope across development, tendering, contract negotiation, execution, and handover phases.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with the WTG supplier, managing technical, contractual, and planning communications.
  • Oversee and manage the Turbine Supply Agreement, ensuring fulfillment of all contractual and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial, contract, and engineering teams, maintaining alignment across disciplines.
  • Drive budget, schedule, quality, risk, and opportunity management for the WTG package within the overall project framework.
  • Coordinate interfaces with other technical packages and support decision-making processes with sound technical input.
  • Manage all technical due diligence, manufacturing oversight, commissioning, and documentation up to handover to operations.
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned and contributing to best practices.
  • Champion innovations and strategies to reduce the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE).
  • Demonstrate visible HSE leadership and promote a strong safety culture throughout the execution of the WTG package.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a technically strong and commercially astute package manager with significant experience in offshore wind and a deep understanding of wind turbine generator systems.

Key requirements:

  • A university degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Strong track record of project and/or package management in the wind industry.
  • Experience leading WTG package execution, ideally on offshore wind projects.
  • Proven experience in tendering and leading contract negotiations for large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of wind turbine design, supply, installation, and commissioning standards.
  • Proficiency in project planning, coordination, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel, including offshore and on-site when necessary.

Desirable:

  • A strong personal drive and team-first mindset.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.
  • Experience with cost optimization and driving efficiencies in project delivery.
