We are now looking for a WTG Project Engineer to join our growing team and support the delivery of cutting-edge offshore wind projects.
What will you be doing?
As a WTG Project Engineer, you will support the WTG Package Manager in delivering the technical scope of Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) contracts through all stages of project development—from design to commissioning. This role requires technical coordination across multiple disciplines, as well as collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the technical management of the WTG package (design, procurement, manufacturing, transport, installation, and commissioning).
- Providing input across related areas, such as electrical system design, structural engineering, port logistics, and installation.
- Ensuring compliance with international and local standards and regulations.
- Acting as a key technical liaison with contractors, suppliers, and certification bodies.
- Coordinating with commercial and contract managers to align technical and commercial deliverables.
- Managing interfaces with other project packages (e.g., foundations, electrical, transport & installation).
- Participating in Technical Due Diligence (TDD), audits, manufacturing surveillance, FATs/SATs, and handover processes.
- Preparing and reviewing technical documentation such as specifications, reports, and design reviews.
- Contributing to knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and innovation within the organization.
- Supporting project reporting, stakeholder engagement, and technical forums.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced and driven WTG Project Engineer who is ready to take a leading role in shaping the next generation of offshore wind projects.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A university degree in a relevant technical or engineering discipline.
- Proven experience as a WTG Project Engineer within the wind industry, especially in offshore wind projects.
- Knowledge of project planning, design, specification, testing, and documentation for WTGs in offshore environments.
Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of wind turbine design and analysis processes from a developer’s perspective.
- Familiarity with standards governing the supply, installation, and commissioning of WTGs.
- Ability to build partnerships with suppliers and stakeholders; strong team orientation is essential.

- Excellent communicator with fluency in written and spoken English.
