We are now looking for a Junior Corporate Controller to support our finance operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

As Junior Corporate Controller, you will prepare accounts for the ABL Group corporate entities, support corporate budget holders in managing spend according to budget, and support Group finance initiatives.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the posting of invoices and ensure correct departmental and nominal coding

  • Manage month-end accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations

  • Analyse and report on budget vs actual variances

  • Help budget holders manage actual spend in line with the budget

  • Prepare and manage intercompany invoicing and reconciliation

  • Support group reporting and audit activities

  • Assist with treasury remittances and other finance-related duties

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree-qualified and working towards a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA)
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar finance role
  • Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and intercompany accounting
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Solid knowledge of accounting standards and reconciliation processes
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, audit support, and financial reporting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible to adjust working hours around financial cycles
