Delta Wind Partners (DWP) is a young, ambitious, and fast-paced company experiencing strong demand and attention from our clients. With a growing pipeline of projects, we’re expanding our team and looking for a Senior Manager to join our office in Aarhus, Denmark.
As Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our country operations. You will be responsible for leading and managing a dynamic team, overseeing day-to-day operational activities, and ensuring that performance consistently meets or exceeds DWP’s high standards. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability within the team.
In this role, you will work closely with the Country Manager and Deputy Country Manager, providing strategic and operational support to ensure the seamless delivery of services to both internal and external stakeholders. You will help drive customer satisfaction through efficient service delivery, while also contributing to the broader growth and financial success of the business. Your insights and expertise will be key in identifying opportunities for improvement, implementing best practices, and supporting the development of long-term strategies.
Additionally, you will be involved in delivering consultancy services, offering expert guidance and solutions to clients across a range of projects. Your ability to balance operational leadership with strategic thinking will be essential in helping DWP maintain its reputation for quality, innovation, and client-focused service.
What will you be doing?
- Lead and manage internal personnel and subcontractors within the country team.
- Develop and motivate team members to build a skilled and engaged workforce.
- Recruit new talent in line with DWP’s recruitment plan.
- Oversee freelancer and subcontractor qualification, performance, and cost control.
- Implement approved budgets and operational plans.
- Collaborate with regional teams to offer global services through resource sharing and cross-selling.
- Support business management to ensure turnover growth, profit margins, and cost control.
- Contribute to budgeting and strategic planning.
- Help develop action plans and budgets to achieve growth targets.
- Work closely with the Business Development team on sales and marketing activities.
- Facilitate internal audits and implement resulting action plans.
- Deliver consultancy services and support client projects.

Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
- University degree in a relevant technical or engineering discipline.
- At least 10 years of professional experience in a relevant industry.
- Proven experience managing a P&L within a business unit.
- Substantial operational experience in consultancy or utility companies.
Technical Skills:
Essential:
- Strong commercial acumen in engineering consultancy.
- Ability to build and maintain effective business relationships.
- Efficient management and communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Proven track record of meeting financial and non-financial targets.
