We are offering an opportunity for a graduate Engineer to join our team in Romania and advance their career in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Learning from experienced Engineers, you will be trained on how to perform structural engineering and design tasks, learn how to undertake document reviews, and how to conduct Marine Warranty Surveys. What will you be doing?
- Support the preparation of calculations, drawings, and reports for naval architecture and structural engineering projects.
- Contribute to Marine Warranty Survey (MWS) work by assisting in reviewing lifting, transport, and installation documentation.
- Assist with stability assessments, strength checks, and method statement reviews.
- Support casualty and damage surveys under supervision.
- Prepare as required and assist with technical inputs on projects and working on interfaces, with increased responsibility and complexity.
- Work productively with teams to deliver innovative solutions and solve moderate scope problems.
- Attend meetings together with senior managers and support where needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Always comply with the company QHSE policies, manuals, procedures, work systems and regulations at ABL premises, projects and client sites.
What are we looking for?
- Educated to master’s or bachelor’s degree level in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- An interest in offshore engineering, energy, and marine operations.
- Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Motivation to learn, grow, and contribute to projects in a fast-paced international environment.
Further Information:
This position will be based at our office in Constanta, Romania.
You must have the right to live and work in Romania.
Following a period of training, you will be expected to undertake onshore and offshore assignments.
