We are seeking an Interim Group Finance Manager to join our Group Finance team at a pivotal moment in the group’s journey. Reporting directly to the Group Controller, you will play a critical role in the Group’s financial reporting and consolidation processes.
Working closely with the Group Finance Manager, you will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting across all group entities during a period of significant transformation. This interim role has been created to fill the vacancy left by the Group Finance Manager, who will be leading the implementation of a consolidation system. The role is expected to last 12 months.
What will you be doing?
- Prepare multi-currency consolidation of group accounts (monthly, quarterly, full year)
- Support the quarterly forecasting cycle & annual budgeting process
- Prepare the financial sections of the annual/quarterly reports and ensure that all disclosures are complete and compliant with IFRS
- Work directly with external auditors, ensuring seamless audit processes
- Maintain compliance with IFRS, manage updates to Group accounting policies, and provide technical accounting support
- Support in acquisition accounting (IFRS 3) for newly acquired subsidiaries
- Perform Group-level accounting for goodwill impairments, leases, share-based payments, and expected credit losses
- Coordination of activities with global finance teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
What are we looking for?

A team player who builds strong relationships across all levels, combining a strong will with a collaborative spirit. You will have:
- Accountancy qualification (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
- Strong accounting skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to reason, persuade, and influence effectively
- Previous experience in a similar group position
- including experience of providing financial control across a group of companies
- Experience working for or with multinational FTSE / listed companies, demonstrating strong technical skills
- Previous experience delivering group monthly, quarterly, and annual management and statutory financial reporting, and an external audit process
- Good financial understanding and fully conversant with accounts
- Strong technical proficiency in IFRS
- Solid experience in multi-currency group consolidations
- Technology savvy with experience in using systems to automate activities
Desirable
- Preference for consulting and/or contracting background
- NetSuite / Power BI or other reporting tools
- Previous experience with consolidation systems
