The Business Systems Manager will lead the delivery, integration, and day‑to‑day operation of ABL Group’s core business systems, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned with our strategic objectives. This role has end‑to‑end ownership of the enterprise systems landscape, including ERP, CRM, HRIS, and associated platforms such as NetSuite, Zoho CRM, SagePeople, and their integrations. You will lead the Business Systems team and partner closely with functional leaders, implementation partners, and IT & Digital colleagues to define and deliver a future‑state architecture that enables growth, efficiency, and operational excellence.
What will you be doing?
- Lead the design and delivery of enterprise-wide business systems transformation, including future state architecture across core platforms.
- Manage the Business Systems team (product owners, system admins, analysts) across Finance, HR, CRM, and Project Management domains.
- Translate enterprise architecture blueprints into actionable system implementation plans.
- Own the product backlog and roadmap for business systems, ensuring alignment with Group priorities.
- Own the integration strategy across business systems, data flows, and reporting platforms.
- Ensure systems are fit for purpose, technically sound, and effectively governed.
- Lead engagement with system integrators and vendors, including scope definition, delivery oversight, and performance management.
- Establish and maintain standards for system configuration, integration, data quality, and change control.
- Coordinate with external vendors and implementation partners to deliver system configurations, integrations, and enhancements.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and maintainability through structured governance and lifecycle management.
- Ensure business systems are operationalised effectively, including support models, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
- Partner with Infrastructure, Security, Support, and Digital teams to ensure systems change and support analytics, reporting, and insight driven decision making.
- Drive continuous improvement of systems, processes, and ways of working.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years’ experience managing enterprise systems, applications, or digital platforms.
- Proven leadership of ERP and enterprise application implementations across multi‑platform environments (ERP, CRM, HRIS).
- Experience leading and developing technical or functional systems teams.
- Strong understanding of system integration, APIs, data flows, and data quality.
- Experience with CRM and HR platforms (e.g. Zoho, SagePeople, or similar).
- Demonstrated capability in systems governance, change and release management, and operational support models.
- Familiarity with process standardisation, Agile delivery, product lifecycles, and backlog prioritisation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

This position will be based at our office in Kuala Lumpur. You must have the right to live and work in Malaysia.
