Reporting to the Group Marketing Director the Marketing Manager will be responsible for the implementation and translation of the group strategy into engaging multi-channel marketing initiatives, specifically for group company brand ABL. 

The overall objective is to support the organization in building brand awareness amongst target audiences, build campaigns around identified growth areas, and to ultimately reach its sales objectives

The role will cover oversight and implementation of outbound and inbound marketing across but not limited to: PR and media relations, Content creation incl. videos and other multimedia, Events and conferences, Digital marketing, Collateral and brand literature

 What will you be doing?

• Manage marketing and comms for ABL energy services, engineering and consulting 
• Oversight of our Junior Marketing Manager’s work on maritime and AIM business lines 
• Oversight of brand integrations for acquired brands under the ABL umbrella 
• Support in cross-segment marketing and comms 
• For ABL and other segments as relevant and required: 
• Manage marketing and comms for ABL energy services, engineering and consulting 
• Oversight of Jnr. Marketing Manager’s work on maritime and AIM business lines 
• Oversight of brand integrations for acquired brands under the ABL umbrella 
• Support in cross-segment marketing and comms 
• Line management of Jnr. Marketing Manager 
• Ownership of the ABL website
• Responsible for driving regular PR 
• Support in delivery of dynamic digital marketing plan for ABL, driving targeted marketing of sectors, services and regions incl but not limited to: 
• Driving forward increased email marketing campaigns with client segmentation
• Synergies with Zoho CRM 
• Driving ABL’s content and design creation for group websites 
• Engaging with SEO results and linking with content and design work 
• Develop and drive communication campaigns around events / conferences in the calendar 
• Develop and drive campaigns relevant to the brand(s) 
• Support team in execution and maintenance of marketing collateral with focus on ABL
• Manage marketing integrations for relevant mergers and acquisitions
• Internal stakeholder management in ABL
• Content creation

Flexibility to working hours, willingness to travel and work within a variety of time zones

Hybrid working 3 days a week in the office – Candidates must have the right to work in the UK. Role is based at our London office with willingness to travel to other ABL offices

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will be either hold a BSc – in marketing, business or equivalent

• Minimum 7 years of experience in a marketing or BD role 
• Effective management of internal and external stakeholder relations 
• Demonstrable line management experience
• Demonstrable example of bringing product / service / brand to market 
• Content marketing experience
